DISCOVER TOKYO SAKE

A sommelier from La Maison du Saké will guide you through six unique categories of sake brewed in Tokyo ( NATURE / MODERN / TRADITIONAL / WATER TYPE / RICE TYPE / SPARKLING / VINTAGE ), with a tasting of five carefully chosen varieties.

It's not just a tasting— "Why do they have such different flavors?"
“How do differences in rice and water affect taste?”
Our professional sommelier will explain these points in detail, revealing the full depth of Tokyo sake.

Open to everyone, from beginners to experienced sake enthusiasts. Immerse yourself in Tokyo's sake culture and discover your favorite bottle.

Appetizers specially paired with sake will also be served. Whether you are discovering sake for the first time or are already passionate about it, you will find this workshop a new and stimulating experience.

THE MASTER

LY YOULIN

Born in France, Ly Youlin first discovered Japanese sake during a school exchange program in Japan, where he was captivated by its depth and complexity.

In 2015, he founded La Maison du Saké , a unique place that combines both a restaurant and a cultural center, dedicated to promoting sake to a wide audience.

At his restaurant ERH ( Water・Rice・Man = Water, Rice, Man ), he offers an innovative tasting experience where sake is paired with food without revealing the brands, allowing diners to focus solely on the essence of the flavors. Guided by his belief that "sake exists in harmony with gastronomy," Youlin continues to raise awareness and awaken palates to Japanese sake culture in France, with a strong focus on food and sake pairings.

In 2020, he received the prestigious title of "Sake Samurai" awarded by the Japan Sake Brewers Association Junior Council, recognizing him as an international ambassador of Japanese sake culture.
